With extensive tenure in all facets of the industry, our carefully selected roster of team members consists of individuals with diverse backgrounds that can effectively plan, execute, implement and problem-solve.
Our executive team and core management work hand-in-hand to maintain all divisions of the firm, from conceptualization and financial pro-forma modeling to design, licensing, facility buildout, operational roll-out, ongoing monitoring, ACC brand licensing and brand oversight. Ellis Smith
Chairman and Founder
Mr. Smith has over 20 years of of horticultural experience, owning and operating businesses, and international business experience in Kyrgyzstan Central Asia. Working in the specialty cut flower market and running indoor gardens early in his career helped him to understand complex growing systems and production protocols while developing his master gardening skills. Some of his accomplishments include assisting in the identification of the Hemp Russet Mite within the Colorado medical cannabis market and working with SKUNK magazine to enlighten and educate the industry. Additional articles in SKUNK magazine highlighted his use of the True Living Organics (TLO) cultivation methodology in a regulated commercial market. He has featured articles in DOPE magazine and Sensi Magazine and he leads a monthly webinar on Cannabis Tech where he features guest speakers in the cannabis industry. Additionally, he has been a speaker and a panel expert at numerous industry events. To date Mr. Smith, along with American Cannabis Company, Inc. has designed and built over one million square feet of cultivation space, with another 250,000 square feet under construction. Mr. Smith’s career path has positioned him to play an integral role in helping both individual companies to succeed as well as aiding the emerging cannabis industry to prosper as a whole.

Tyler Schloesser
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operations Officer at American Cannabis Company, Tyler Schloesser brings his industry knowledge and breadth of experience in different areas of the business to bear in his position.
Coming from the banking industry, Mr. Schloesser chose to pursue a career in his passion, cannabis, after working for financial institutions such as Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, and Credit Union of Colorado, where he gained ample experience in bank management as a Banker, Senior Banker, and in Member Relations. Working in the small business and retail banking industries has provided Mr. Schloesser with first-hand experience and understanding of the many startup and operational issues that cannabis businesses face. Mr. Schloesser functions at American Cannabis Company, Inc. primarily to develop and maintain policies, procedures, communications, processes, and risk mitigation best practices as well as manage and perform day-to-day internal operational tasks that are associated with keeping the engine of a public company running.
